Bought last year september, african baby carrier from store. On our vacation, noticed carrier was defective. Badly stitching, was not taking a chance and strapping baby into carrier. Returned a month later, took defective baby carrier back to store. After much talking Michelle owner, refused to give me a refund, as i did not have proof of purchase, but gave me a replacement one. At the time i clearly stated that i do not want another baby carrier, as i did not have faith and trust in carrier, having experienced bad workmanship with the first baby carrier. She refused and insisted on cash receipt. Told her to plz check on her system, she could trace back when item was purchased. Gave her approximate time of purchase. All she kept saying that she, would not get reimbused by supplier for defective carrier. Spoke to supplier, she was more than willing to assist me, and assured me, that michelle would be credited for defective item, but she could do nothing about persuading owner to pass refund.
I then spoke to Kids Emporium Headoffice, Lauren founder of Company, She was very sympathic and assured me, she would talk to owner and get back to me. This matter is still pending.
