I purchased a spare wheel carrier from Cape off Road Centre in Brackenfell. Upon collection of my Fortuner, the overall quality of workmanship was very poor. The carrier had no number plate bracket, no primer was used under plain spray-paint (rusting after one gravel terrain drive). No stop mechanism in place when opening the carrier. The nuts used to mount the spare wheel are a different size than the wheel nuts. After 4 months the arm bearing cave in, whole carrier arm dropped 20mm. I informed Jaco about this and that I'm taking the carrier to get a quote. I informed him about the costs and he had no problem to pay for the repair. After the repair and numerous promises from Jaco no re-imbursement was made. This company does not live up to their website promise of top quality products and I would never recommend anybody to make use of their service.
