Where do I start, I boycotted this spar since the beginning of the year and just didn't't buy there but after tonight I want to voice my dissatisfaction of this joke of a franchise, this store does not portray the "myspar" image.
Firstly they sell old cake old as in the cream is sour, their cake is stone hard I think they only sell fresh cake once a week the rest of the cake is of the left overs.
Secondly, when I asked one of the bakery staff if it is todays cake (before I buy it to avoid the disappointment when I am warm at home, of a old cake disguised with pretty icing) the staff told me jokingly how about if the cake is old you punch me in my mouth if not I punch you... I was like WHAT thats when I just stop going to that store, then tonight my last straw I purchased a box of cereal that was defected at another spar I took it to this SPAR to exchange it, all I got was a smirk from the manager as he stated that this was not purchased in "his" spar so his not going to refund us. This is not the message you guys give when you advertise a unified supermarket, to the customer a SPAR is a SPAR.. Maybe the branches should be named after the owners then...
