I was at the Cape Quarter Spar last night which just so happens to be the Spar of the year.
I bought a chocolate cake from them. I first asked the staff working in the bakery when the cake was actually baked and they told me it was baked on the 16th so it will still be fresh. When I got home and gave the cake to my guests everyone came to the same conclusion... it was old! The mousse inside the cake was far from fresh and the cake itself was stale. This was most definitely not a cake that was baked the day before.
So in the end I paid R70 for a cake that was old and stale!
This kind of service and food should not be served in any Spar, but the fact that was in the Spar of the years store is very shocking!
I will be messaging your Facebook account as well as posting this here. You have told me to mail your customer services department in the past, which I have done, but I never got a single form of response from them so I assume you actually do not have one.
I would LOVE a response this time, but not one that says I must email your non existent customer services department and I would LOVE some sort of rectification on this.
