Incredible Connection
Staff couldn't assist with query

Saw a Kindle on special at Incredible for R1699. It appeared in a pamphlet with the Randburg Sun and was dated 13-16 June (today is the 14th). I phoned the Northgate branch to find out if they had stock. I could hardly hear the lady who answered my call and when there wasn't anyone to help me, she tried to, but failed miserably. She told me the special wasn't on anymore, that it was a special from last week. When I told her I had the pamphlet at home, she uhmmmed and aaaahhhed, until I put the phone down in her ear.

Is or isn't the special on, and if not, why do I have a pamplet that says it's valid until 16 June. If it is, does Norhgate have stock?

What I'm most annoyed about is the fact that people put on the frontline are no skilled to do the job. People need competant personnel to assist. IC have a bad rep as it is and they just don't seem to be doing anything about.
