I visited the Edgars store at Fourways Mall and made a purchase. I used the voucher which was sent to me by Edgars. When I got to the till, I was rudely told that I cannot use the voucher as it was for Christmas. I explained to Lebogang that the voucher had no expiry date and therefore I was entitled to use the voucher. She rudely told me that I cannot use this old voucher. After checking with the manager, "authorisation" was granted to use the voucher. After paying, she still continued to demonstrate her arrogance by rolling her eyes and telling me that the voucher should'nt be used after such a long time. Her rudeness and poor attitude is an embarresment to Edgars as your staff do not understand the concept of customer service. I will be closing my Edgars account as I would rather shop in a place where I am treated like a customer. The Edgars brand will continue to be tarnished with employees like Lebogang. Edgars - do not send me vouchers without an expiry date and expect me to associate a picture on the voucher with the season that it can be used for.
