On 17 Jan I received an email telling me that:
CONGRATULATIONS! As an Edgars Club member you've just been awarded up to R3500.00 travel or shopping voucher from Edgars Club Travel Desk. Call 0861-229-463 to arrange your redemption. This is Exclusive to Edgars Club members.
I thought its one of those and I neglected it but then decided to call them anyway and find out I mean its not every day that one gets told that you have been awarded a travel or shopping voucher of about R3500 especially in January
the lady was helpful and convinced me that it was not a I actually believed it until we went on to discussing redemption of the prize/voucher. I was so dumbstruck when I was told that
" To qualify for a voucher tagged on each property you need to book for 2 people sharing for 3 nights at any one of the above properties in this email only. The voucher is for Edgars Club Members only and is valid for travel between 1 February 2013 and 30 April 2013. The voucher will only be issued once full payment of any travel package booked has reflected in the Travel Desk bank account"
For me to get this voucher I have to spend money??
This is no way of giving gifts/vouchers!!!
