I am just writing this because the majority of our country is quick to complain but never gives credit where due. So here is my story.
I have a Samsung SyncMaster P2050 LCD flat screen that I bought in 2010, used as my computer screen. This Item, besides having superb image quality (second to no LED or Plasma) recently fell off the computer stand. From a height of roughly 1.2m. Right there I thought It's the end of the screen. Upon picking it up there was no visible damage and once switching the screen on, to my surprise everything is OK. No internal damage and all the touch sensitive controls working as if it was new out the box. What a relief.
Samsung - Keep up the SUPERB quality and products. I would never have thought that any flat screen could have survived such an impact unscathed.
Great to see old fashioned quality has not died out yet.
