I have been a loyal customer of Homechoice for many years now. I have been making payments to them every month but without realising that I was paying over and above the required amount.
When my nephew informed me that I was paying too much because the number of reciepts that I paid at Checkers, was more than the required amount for installment. In fact according to the calculations based on the reciepts and statement, Homechoice owed me money in excess of about R8000.00 which is due to me.
Instead of having my query settled, I am taken from pillar to post, I have informed my Nephew to speak on my behalf, but the rude staff and call centre agents do nothing but birrate him when he calls, this, despite the fact that I have given him power of attorney. When I call them they tell me my account is being reconcilled and this has taken a period longer than three months and it sickens me that no one wants to tell me what happened to me money and why I must still pay monthly installments on new purchases if Homechoice owes me money.
I also recently was told that I had increased my payment amount, Since when?? this was done unilaterally without my consent. I need answers!
