Higher insurance paid - lesser value to reimbursed

Claim ref number: TC27401601130624224 for a misplaced cellphone.
When speaking to the consultant instore, he had advised that if approved, she would be given R2000 as reimbursement from insurance.

However, when taking the policy, she was advised that she could take the higher policy in order to have the higher amount and not have any shortfalls in future. She took the higher option paying the higher premium all this time and when purchasing another Blackberry they automatically slotted that insurance on the higher one as well.

It is against the Consumers rights to bill her for something and provide her with a lesser value.

This needs to be reviewed as is she is not provided with the higher value as per premium then the member needs to be refunded the difference backdated with interest.
Furthermore, for the alternate cellphone insurance which was taken some time afterwards, this also needs to be reduced according to the cover of phone backdated.
