Firstly the lady at the till point did not know what i meant when i said i want to find out the outstanding amount on this account and at the same time i want to pay the account off and also close the account - after battling to explain my request to her she eventually gave me an amount - i told her the amount she is give me is incorrect and that i have made previous payment. she then said i need to pay whats on their system.

i then paid the amount and next day called the legal department only to find out that i paid R1350 more onto the account. and that there where going to refund me - i followed up nearly about an month and there response was send us proof and we will refund you - i sent them the proof and still nothing.

i then complained online about them and only to find oout that they dont do refunds and i need to contact Maria.

i called to call centre of Edgars they provided me with her fax number - i faxed her the documents off at the in April and its May now and i have not heard anything - all i want is my refund or if i can use the card at the store if they dont want to give me the cash back.

ive also asked for Maria number and i was told she doesnt take calls
