My brother studies in Stellenbosch and we life in Joburg. We contacted Woolworths and ordered a cake etc and some clothes etc to be delivered to his flat on his birthday. Woolworths later informed us that they were not able to deliver the clothes on his birthday (Tuesday 21 May) but they could deliver it the next day (Wednesday). We selected the 8am to 10am delivery time on the website.By 13:00 he had still not received anything. We contacted Woolworths and they informed us that the earliest delivery time is 10am (not according to their order form), and that it was not possible for them to tell us where the driver was or what time he would be delivering the presents. Eventually he arrived at 13:45. At 16:30 on Tuesday they called to tell me half of the clothes we ordered are out of stock. They only discovered this at 16:30 the day before the delivery?? They also told me that they would only deliver on Thursday (but still only half the order) The clothes that were in stock were cheaper than the delivery fee so we cancelled. The lady on the phone was only too happy to cancel the order and hang up the phone. Shocking behaviour for sutomer services.
