ITS JUST NOT ON!!!

I took out an Edgars account in January 2012.

Out of all outlets available - I chose to sign up for an Edgars account as it was one of the few places that offered a 6 month interest free plan. When taking out the account I insisted on this option. Over the past year I have spent quite a bit on my account - and made regular payment every month above that which is required, only to find out - a year later - that I am on a 12 month interest account option?!

This is very disappointing... and to an extent deceiving! How will Edgars correct this? And what happens to all the payments I have made on this sudden "interest" generating account?

I know there is some rubbish about Edcon moving to ABSA means that all accounts will be 12 months (or something to that effect... i was so fuming that I wasn't listening!) but the bottom line is - unless I have signed documentation stating otherwise the account should stay as is - right?!!!

Although this may not seems like much of a big deal... it is so frustrating when you request something and are given something else!
