On the 4th of April 2013 I purchased a URN from this store. Exactly one month and 11 days later (15 May 2013) the URN no longer heated the water. So with slip and item, I returned to the store to replace or refund. No, they do not replace or refund, they send away to supplier and you as the client have to wait 4-5 weeks. My concern is that the 1 year quarantee now suddenly means that they will fix not replace. If I knew this I would never purchase this item and rather go to another company that values their clients. Today I phoned and wanted to speak to a consultant in the returns department to see if I can get a replacement one as I'm really not willing to wait this long. I phoned at 09:00am and was promised that someone would phone me back. (received quite a bit of attitude from the telephone operator). At 11:45 no-one returned my call so I phoned again. Spoke to another operator. Explained my situation and she utterly rudely just kept on speaking over me and the without notice just transfered me to Chade. Again I had to explain myself. Halfway through the conversation, we got cut off. Needless to say, I want a refund, go somewhere else and NEVER purhase anything from MACRO.
