I've ordered a dinging room table and chairs from furniture city canal walk on the 29th of April. They said the stock will be delivered within 10 days (not even business days). I was phoned on the 3rd to arrange delivery for the 6th. I phone the store assistant on the 6th to confirm delivery - she said she's not going to phone the people who delivers - she believes they would deliver. I rushed home and waited there all night - no one pitched - no one even phoned. When I phoned the next day THEY DENIED EVER MAKING THE CALL TO ARRANGE THE DELIVERY! Can you believe that! I took a picture (thanks to Smartphone) as proof that they phoned me on the 3rd to make the arrangement. So the delivery was rescheduled again for tonight, the 15th of May. Guess what - they didn't pitch again. I got suspicious and phoned the store manager just before 7pm - she said she doesn't know the number of the driver but she (ALSO!) BELIEVES they would come. I'm a busy person and rushing home and cancelling plans for the evening for an absolute waste really makes me EXPLODE! I would not recommend buying anything from Furniture City (aka Ellerine Holdings Limited) if you cannot transport it yourself
