On 23 June I bought a lounge suite from FC Woodmead, which I paid for in full including delivery. They confirmed delivery for the following Wednesday, so I rescheduled all my appointments to be home but they never showed up. Even though I phoned twice and was assured they were in the vicinity, they never pitched. I phoned the next morning and was promised delivery by noon so I had to cancel an appointment to meet them. The lounge suite they delivered was mismatched and the legs skew so I had to arrange for an exchange. I battled for a month with this, leaving messages for the sales lady Nthabiseng, to no avail. Finally I was promised delivery the last week of July, on Monday... they never showed. It was then confirmed for Wednesday and they did not show. On that Friday I drove to their head office where I was promised yet another delivery, the same night. They brought me a shop-soiled, damaged suite, taken from the floor in the Northgate store. I sent it back and demanded a refund, which I am still waiting for. Natasha from phoned on 5 August saying that Nadia from their complaints dept will phone me to arrange the refund and pick-up. Still waiting... I shall now take legal steps
