Money lost via money market transfe

A friend of mine sent me money via money market and when i went to draw it out i was told that it has already been withdrawn. we followed the necessary procedures to try and find out who withdrew tthe money and we were told that it was someone in JHB. We both did not give the password or the money market code to anyone and we dnt knw the person who withdrew the money. how could have this happened and how safe is this service suppose to be against hackers.
