I recently fell victim to using Spar's Money Market. I made a deal with someone on the phone and made a R2000 downpayment on. Now i did not divulge the pin to the receiver of said monies for the eventuality of my product not getting delivered. My product was not deliverred and when I went to get my money from Money Market it was gone too. I called the number on the voucher and the agent (very friendly) explained to me exactly what happened. When you deposit money and the who's receiver has mxit on his phone he can actually change the pin and take all the money while you foolishly think you're money is safe.?!!! How could Spar say that that this is a secure service if you can change pins ON A SOCIAL NETWORK!!?? I am truly dissappointed. The call centre guy told me that this was brought under the attention of higher management but they have not received an answer yet. Unsecured and unprofessional Spar.
