My wife and i purchased a lounge suite in february at joshua doore and because i reside close to the warehouse and i had the means i decided to collect myself. when i got to the warehouse the suite was well wrapped you couldnt even see the color of the sofa. when i got home i off loaded and whilst un wrapping the i noticed sum broken pieces of timber on the side and it was torn. i immediately stopped and went back to the store and notified the store clerk who reassured me that they would collect the suite in 7 days. it took them 2 months to collect after a dozen phone calls and personal visits. the suite is with them now for 2 weeks and now they are telling me that the manufacturer has declined to replace or repair the suite. the store manager is now offerring to repair the suite but i must cover 50% of the cost. why must i pay anything i already paid cash for the suite which was faulty and now i must pay repairs? upon collection the guys broke 1 leg whilst loading must i also pay for that. i have never received such terrible service i have been advised to go the legal route because i am going nowhere slowly and still i dont have a suite.
