Bought 2 punnets of Nulaid eggs from different 'lots', rotten eggs in both.
E-mailed my complaint to Nulaid. Got answer from Wallaceley Pieterse. Apparently it is something that happens, nothing can really be done to avoid it. Complaint was logged. I was phoned and questions were asked about the rotten eggs. In the background somebody else was asking the same questions from another customer. Apparently rotten eggs really are nothing out of the ordinary at Nulaid. Sent 2 e-mails afterwards to find out if other eggs were tested and if necessary taken off the selves. After 2nd e-mail was assured that, yes it was tested, none other rotten eggs were found. (?) Which means that I purely by accident was unlucky enough to get the only rotten eggs from 2 different 'lots'. I actually thought Nulaid would maybe pick op the eggs that were left in die punnet. Tested those myself - ROTTEN! I did not go to all the trouble to 'score' something like R18, 99. Would be very, very careful not to buy Nulaid eggs again and would not recommend anyone to do so, given a choice. Found that more customers have been complaining on Hello Peter. Maybe got rotten eggs purely by accident as well.
