About a week ago I bought two packets of 18 extra large eggs from the PnP at Fourways Crossing. Firstly when i opened the first packet, the eggs were very small or medium, not large and they are supposed to be extra large. I thought you know, its fine i will eat them because i don't have time to return them during the week.
Secondly, now that the first pack is finished, i opened the second one. I didn't even bother to cut the plastic seal as it had maggots. The eggs are rotten and there are maggots in the sealed packet
What upsets me is that this is not the first time that i have found broken eggs in the egg packaging at PnP, I was charged a price for extra large eggs when they were small, that is absolutely ridiculous and it's cheating, lastly rotten eggs with maggots was the last straw, i cannot believe it.
I am very dissappointed in the quality of fresh food from PnP. Previously we also bought a sausage that turned out to be off. i have stopped buying fruits and vegetables completely from PnP because i have had many disappointments.
