I had the misfortune of purchasing a sealed package of 18 Jumbo Nulaid eggs from Checkers, Westville. On returning home and opening the packaging, I discovered that at some stage - way before the eggs were purchased - one of the eggs had broken and the 'white' of the egg had leaked onto the other eggs causing a green mould to form on them. I phoned Nulaid Customer Care as I wanted my petrol for 20 kms refunded to me. I had to go back to Checkers to return the eggs and although Checkers refunded me the cost of the eggs, this did not pay for MY outlay of wear and tear on my car or my petrol. Today I received a reply to my complaint from Nulaid. They said my complaint was a concern to them and it would be forwarded on to their production and quality teams for investigation and analysis. This still does not pay for MY outlay of the extra trip I had to make to return the eggs. Be careful when buying this product as you can't see if any of the eggs are broken. You will not be refunded for taking the eggs back to where you bought them.
