Horrendous and Bad attitude

My Mother-in-law bought a base and mattress set in July of 2012. The bed is not even a year old and yet it has collapsed. Numerous calls have been logged and escalated to the highest manager at store level in Lewis with no positive result. Charmaine and Tumi Mokoena are some of the managers I liaised with to no avail. Promises to pick up the base-set and replace it within 2 months have been made yet no delivery and no communication from the store and it is now 4 months. The initial call log was made on the 2 of January 2013 and the call was logged by Mr. Mphasane.

We stopped paying for the base-set end of March and advised Charmaine that up untl they replace the base set we will not pay and no arrears should be placed on the account as the final two payments would have brought the account balance to zero.

We want the bed replaced and the arrears removed as we cannot pay for damaged goods. Lewis exploits the vulnerability of elderly people. They continously bombard my mother in law with offers, yet they can barely pick up the phone and give constant feedback as to when the bed-set will be replaced. We have an account with them and not the manufacturer. Urgently assist!!
