On the 30 th March 2013 i went to @ home looking to buy sofas, i managed to find what i was looking for only to realise that they do not have stock. Consultant by the name of Dumisani was helping me at the time, then checked on they system and i was informed that the warehoue will be able to have stock and deliver the sofas to me on the 3rd of May 2013. I explained my situation to the consultant that i was in desperate need of the sofas and i will be disappointed if they took my money and where unable to deliver on the date they promised too. He reasured me and even showed me the order on his computer and that it was definite they will deliver in time. The cost for the sofas was R8900 plus R400 delivery fee, we paid then 75% of the total amount cash and told them that will come before end of the month to pay the rest. Today my husband went to @home to pay the balance after he had paid he was then informed that they can nolonger deliver the sofas on the promised date but they can only deliver after a month on the 6th of June 2013 by Bongani, he did not even care that no one even tried to contact us before hand to explain the delay to us. This is so unfair to me, i paid cash already.
