Poor service on poor products

During December we called a technician from ADT since our alarm system was not working. Firstly the controls all showed to be working but messages were not being radio'd to the Control Room since OCTOBER without us detecting the failure. We then called their "approved" installer, Noel Watkins, who installed our alarm 4yrs ago. He quickly dashed in to trouble shoot and replace all the components as he was always busy and going on holiday. The total cost of the replacement amounted to R1800! He then says he sms'd us bypass codes to use as he was on holiday which we did not receive as faults were coming up on this "new" panel. Our alarm is now currently not active at all. He also avoided calls from my husband. We tried calling ADT to move on to a new technician only to find that they are booked into next week! Not considering the fact that we paying R500 practically a month only to have no reliable communication for weeks at a time with their alarm systems and an uprotected property. Seeing all the complaints currently lodged for January alone should be an "alarm" for ADT on their Business Quality Assurance for standards on approved technicians (suppliers) & customer service!!!
