Not sure C track device works

I tried testing if my c track works and smsed T? However nothing happened I bought my car last year September. If nothing is done I will cancel and go somewhere else. I need to know whether the device works or not. The device was installed at the dealer when I purchased I was never present. However the salesman never told me about testing the device but I read it up and I decided to test it.
