On the 28/03/2013 I gave the rep from ADT approval to install an outdoor passive in my veranda. I was told it was necessary send a signed quote which went through on Tuesday 02/04/2013.On that same morning our neighbours house was broken into in our complex. I had requested that they try and do it that week as my wife was on leave and they could easily have access to the house. I was told they were busy but would see what they could do. After multiple phone calls by Friday we still had no confirmed installation date. On Monday the 8th i called the rep and told him not to bother with the installation as my neighbours, in the same time frame had a rep come see them, approved a quote and had a R10, 000 alarm system installed by Blue. The reps email reply to my cancellation was fairly and in broken english. Then late on Monday they called to confirm the installation for Tuesday and were surprised when i told them i had already cancelled it. On Tuesday morning i emailed a request for a settlement figure as ADT have me roped into a contract. 2 days later i am still waiting to hear from them. The service from ADT through this period has been disgusting. Give me my settlement figure!!
