Slow response time and unlawful entering of house

In November 2012 we had a second break in. The living room window was broken. ADT arrived first Our community service also reacted when the alarm went off, but wasn't allowed on the premises. They saw an ADT guard enter our house. When they confronted the guard, he was offensive, saying it was his job. However, an ADT guard isn't allowed in the house without the consent of the owner, which the guard didn't have. A week after the break in the alarm went off again. My husband called several times to find out what the situation was. It took the guard 30 min to arrive at the house. If it was a break in, our house could've been cleared out in 30 min! The fact that an ADT guard entered our house without our consent and ADT's poor response time led to our decision to cancel our contract as we have no more faith in ADT.We refuse to pay the cancelation fee - we feel ADT has committed breach of contract. After several calls to ADT, my husband spoke to a supervisor on 9 January, who admitted ADT was at fault. He asked if he could send the area manager, Richard, to come and see us. Richard has still not phoned us to set up a meeting. We are desperate to cancel our contract!
