I had a break in at my house in December, ADT did not even respond at all. The previous day I also received a alarm call for a alarm that was activated 4 hours earlier, ADT phoned and said if I will attend myself, or must they send some one out. The are having a delay. On the 27th December my neighbors called and said our alarm is goiing off. I send my brother to the house and he found that my dogs was poisoned. Once again no response from ADT.
Later that day I called ADT, the Police and another security company in that order. ADT arrived last and the guard walked in with a sigarette hanging between his lips and his hand in his pocket. Its a joke.
I told the guard that I am cancelling the policy and he said I may not. I then pressed the panic button and the call centre said they received it, but I was standing next to the guard and he did not get a call neither did I.
I then removed all ADT's radio's and transmitters on 27/12/2012. Now one month later, ADT still did not even contact me to say that my signal is FAULTY.
I contacted my laywer who advised me that a serious breach of contract occurred from ADT's side.
Makes you think about the quality of people and service of ADT.
