This is my first ever complaint on Hellopeter.
Everytime I call on ADT for assistance I get an agent on the line who either cuts me off or knows nothing about their alarm systems. Previously, I've had to figure out on my own how change an alarm code because agents refused to help me & insisted on sending out a technician instead. Call out fees are astronomical! Simple information should be given over the phone.
This week I've called in numeous times (my calls often get cut!). We've been receiving smses from ADT telling us that we've been experiencing power outages - which we haven't - thus the motivation of my calls. Yesterday, the keypad started beeping & an amber triangle started flashing. I spoke to Michelle & Zera. Zera told me that the battery would recharge itself (how? I have no idea). I expressed my concern at this & he assured me that the system will recharge & all will be back to normal in 30-60mins. Eventually the battery died - after working hours. Today, on my 2nd call in, I spoke to Tasneem who said that a tech has come in after hours to change the battery. Fees amounting to over R1200 for awful, awful service?!
We are not impressed.
