I called ADT call centre on Friday the 6th September after receiving an sms that my battery on the alarm system was low. I was informed that there would be a call out fee, plus the cost of the new battery. The other option was that they would deliver a battery to my home and I could self install..which I agreed to do.
I called in on Monday the 9th to report that I had still not received the promised battery, and was told that I would receive it later that afternoon.
I have made calls every day this week with promises that it was to be delivered that day.
This morning, I called and had to hold on the line for 1hr and 10mins to be able to speak to a manger. Who promised she would get back to me.
3 hours later, a person from the call centre called me and informed me that she would get a battery sent to me. The manager has never bothered to get back to me!
I have been in my home for a week, with no protection. Without a working battery, an emegency reaction to the alarm going off or me pushing a panic button would not be received by their reaction centre.
They have has 15 years of monthly payments in advance from me... plus September... what a joke!
