We had been using Mzanzi for about 6 years with on and off good and bad service. This was with armed response. Being in the middle of Durban we can expect break in's and these have amounted to about 20 to 30 over this period. Mzanzi never aprehended any of the as they always arrived to late. However from our understanding this is the norm with security companies and have heard similar stories of other companies. Over this time we had many repairs and upgrades to the hardware. This was always paid for without event. However about 8 months ago we had another spate of break in's and when we questioned Mzanzi why the alarm did not go off, they replied that only about a third of the alarm system was working. Our question to them was why we were not notified when they serviced the system a few weeks before. There was no response to this just a BIG quote to repair. Our question again was why did they not notify us as and when there were zone problems so we could fix them right away and spread the costs over time. No response. We stopped paying them for their services because the service was so poor and they BLACKLISTED us for a small sum of money. Now we have lawyers involved. BAD
