I called ADT's customer services centre on the 28th of January. I asked the consultant how I go about cancelling ADT's Services. The consultant told me that I had to send an email to the ADT customer care email. Which I did. I received a ticket from ADT in an email stating that the correct person would contact me within 2 days. Since then 6 days have passed and I have not received any feedback. This feels to me like a play to milk an additional months payments out of me. Now it should be noted that my house already had an alarm when I bought it so ADT only hooked it up to their system. Also after a year I bought (not on contract) additional equipment from ADT which was then installed. So as far as I am aware I am under no obligation to stay with ADT. Why are you milking me!
