Beware Neo-Trac Customer safety not important

Had a Neo-Trac unit installed 30 Nov 2011. After installation had some minor issues, but all was sorted out. I have received some calls regarding the tracking system generating warnings, which is good because you know the system is working. On Monday 6 Jan 2013 I phoned 0110634500 op 5 for technical support, phone went dead, repeated the call on option 5, phone went dead again. Phoned again and selected the emergency option, could not hear the respondent, not even interested if it was an emergency. Phoned again and spoke to reception and then put through to Roland. Asked him to check out the system, but no system response. Was informed that I should phone on a monthly basis to check the system. So there is no system warning for Neo-Trac to react on, the customer must phone in and check. Roland could not or did not want to tell me when the system stopped working. I checked the web site which monitors the vehicle status and the last entry was July 2013. So bottom line, I have paid in excess of R600.00 from July 2013 to Jan 2014 and have had no cover and Neo-Trac showed no concern whatsoever. This is a Vendor who does not require Customers. Contract cancelled Jan 08 2014. Be WARNED.
