When an altercation with a trespasser got violent my kids were taken upstairs. We have an Xpanda security gate that restricts access to the 2nd story of our house. In the chaos, the gate was slammed shut and the locking mechanism was displaced rendering it useless. After the situation had calmed it took us minutes to realign the mechanism.
Had I not put myself in harms way to ensure that the front door was locked the outcome may have been tragic.
This is unacceptable. When lives are at stake a product failure such as this should not happen.
