My has been broken into, where thugs my whole sound system - my cars battery was disconnected and therefore causing the alarm system to be deactivated.
to my surprise having the state of the art cyber sleuth supreme -junk tracking system, which is suppose to give an signal to Altech if the car's battery's disconnected. it failed to do that,
I did not get any kind of correspondence from Altech stating the my cars battery is off or not working.
a couple of weeks i was able to view my car's whereabouts on their website which means the unit is working
but they mainly failed to pick up that the cars battery had been disconnected.
I must say that i am pretty disappointed after being a customer of theirs for just over 5 years paying month to month religiously I am sitting with a bill amounting to about R5000.00 to replace the good and damages caused.
Had i at least had that early warning from them I maybe would have caught the culprits in the act.
after calling their call centre the best they could only say is they going to arrange an fitment agent to come check the unit. damage is like already done thanks High FIVE
