I cancelled my ADT Contract after being with ADT for Six years - was happy with the service however premiums were becoming ridiculously expensive & after investigating alternatives came up with a service provider who was eager to accommodate me at a better rate and also made me aware of the fact that you should always renegotiate your contract regularly in order not to have your premiums skyrocket on an annual basis - funny how ADT made no effort whatsoever to do this and where quite happy to have me pay off my alarm system over a five year period whilst increasing my premiums as they felt every year. The main problem however is once i sent in my cancellation notice they phoned me to try and offer an alternative which was good but when i told them it was too little too late and that they still could not beat the new service providers offer they somehow managed to loose my cancellation notice i then had to try and get this sorted out after many telephone conversations and a couple of emails. In the midst of this i also had to fight a rebate for funds which they took off my account which they should never have done because it was their fault needles to say still no refund from ADT
