I cancelled my subscription with chubb as they were taking more money of my account than the usual R370 I paid monthly> I also made a reversal of the unnecessary funds they took. I have never skipped a month when paying for the service and when R500 and odd rand suddenly went off my account I queried it and was met with a very rude lady on the other side of the phone saying that it is some fee that is added (without even notifying me!). Because the lady was so rude I asked for the cancellation departments number and cancelled my subscription. The alarm system was then removed about a week after that. That was maybe 11 months ago or so> Yesterday I received a letter saying I owe R2653.12, if i dont pay my service will be suspended??? and I will be blacklisted??? and I have to pay for the alarm system>!!! What alarm system seeing that it all was removed when I canceled??? And why must I pay for something I did not have??? This is the reason I canceled with Chubb in the first place> I regret taking up the "special" offer you had on when I joined> Did not know I was going to have this kind of headache!!! will tell everyone about how you operate!
