Another Increase?!

I am disgusted with yet another increase by ADT. The latest being a 9.2% increase, just after another increase for fuel.
What irritates me the most is that you can do nothing about these increases, as you are bound by contract with them. These "increases" in fine print are however not mentioned when signing the contract - quite convenient - but pointed out quickly when you complain.
The only way out is to cancel your contract, which includes a very expensive penalty, and not an amount I am willing to pay - so what do I do?
When signing the contract, I agreed to a certain amount. I have a good mind to report this to the consumer service body, as surely this goes against our consumer rights?
In a country riddled with crime we are forced to have extra security to prtect our families, and then get ripped off in the process too.
