I had a Netstar tracker installed in my vehicle which I pay R116 a month for. Last year July I was involved in an accident and my vehicle was written off. After I was back on my feet I contacted Netstar to cancel my contract as there is no vehicle to track now. They informed me that unfortunately that cannot be done since it was a contract that I had signed which will end in September this year.
I was recently contacted by a call centre agent trying to sell me a netstar tracker contract. I explained the above to the agent and was informed that I could have been given a settlement amount and cancelled that contract. I am absolutely horrified at this as I have been paying for this unnecessarily for a year now. I would appreciate some clarity on all of this and this contracted cancelled immediately. This service is pathetic and I will never recommend Netstar.
