Its only in times of need that ADT show their true lack of value. After a burglary where ADT were alerted and the monkey of a guard arrived 50 minutes later. The Burglars made off with 60k worth of valuables. After that I deciding to leave ADT and advised them accordingly. I was then offered a 10% discount on my monthly premium. Stupidly I decided to give them a second chance on the promise that the response time would be improved in my neighborhood.
Since then I have had a few incidences where the alarm has been triggered and if burglars had struck again I would have again been left with absolutely no protection from ADT as they are utterly useless in providing the service for which I pay good money.
ADT can not be allowed to operate this protection racket whereby citizens are forced by insurance companies to use the likes of ADT when they offer no value whatsoever.
Citizens need to stop being apathetic about the likes of ADT - they are the biggest criminals - profiting hugely from the crime in this country and offering very little in return.
