None existance customer service and deceiption

I signed up with ADT at the beginning of the year (2013) and noted to the salesman that I have a one year lease on the property and therefore only require a years contract. The salesman assured me that my contract would run for a year. My lease is up on the property and upon trying to cancel my contract with ADT. I find that the salesman about the length of the contract. He signed me up for a 2 year contract and now ADT expect me to pay a year's worth of security when I will not be living on the property.

The cancellations department refuses to make contact with me to discuss cancellation despite emails and calls to ADT.

The service is beyond disgusting and the sales people would and promise the world but have nothing to offer in return

All they want is a contract signed, a debit order authorization and they than pretend you don't exist
