I had contracted with a security company viz. JBC Security in August 2011 and had endless problems with the system that they had installed and window contacts etc. which they had failed to install despite numerous promises. I had paid cash of R800-00 for the alarm system.
In September 2012 we had an incident at my premises wherein intruders had got onto our property over our boundary wall while we were having a function. We required the assistance of the security company and pressed the panic button. Their response vehicle had arrived almost 30 min later and did not even bother to get out of his vehicle.By this time the intruders had escaped but not before they had injured my dad. There were no follow ups done to ensure that everything was fine, etc.
I had complained to the owner of the security company, Mr Milani, who promised that he would get his technician Jithen to call at my premises to meet with me and try and resolve the problems and to attend to the incomplete installation, etc.
This was supposed to be done in October but by January 2013 no meeting was convened as Jithen failed to keep to his appointments.
