I called to cancel my DSTV mid March due to financial constraints. My DSTV was then disconnected on the 26th of March - which on its own is cheeky as I paid for the whole month and was robbed of 6 days of viewing. Anyway, my debit order still goes off on 2 April and its R20 more! I called yesterday to get my money back and Tinyiko first tells me that on their side it shows that I called to downgrade not cancel. This got me very upset, 15 minutes later after going around in circles with this guy he tells me that I have a credit due to me but its LESS than what was debited from my account. This continues to get me upset, but Tinyiko decides that he would add insult to injury and laugh at me and repeat himself as if I am stupid! Firstly the debit order should never have gone off as I called to cancel early enough in the month for this NOT to happen, 2nd I don't want a credit I want my money put back into my account and 3rd I want every single cent. How dare you take advantage of the fact that I have given you my banking details and you just take my money! My reference is #128706965. It has been a whole day and I havent heard anything.
