Desperately poor customer service, overbilling!

I can barely contain my rage as I type this report. In december of 2012 a dstv agent acidently activated the premium subscription of a old decoder on my name. The smartcard and decoder had long ago been disconnected. In january after several phonecalls DSTV finally reimbursed me for their error on the 13TH OF March 2013. It seemed finally they had got their act together. Alas that was merely a false dawn on the 25th of March they debited my account for the amount that they transfered back to me me of some 525 rand.

I called once more and was put through to a guy from finance who said the person who had made the refund had forgot to list it as a credit hence the debit order system tryed to reclaim the money. He gave me a reference number of 128112803 and promised someone would call me once the issue was fixed. That was two weeks ago.

I am completely fed up with DSTV. So today I called to ask about my refund and also cancel my account. But even cancelling my account with them is impossible seeing as their systems are forever down.

I really have had enough, being the sole reputable provider of satelite television seems to mean they can treat their customers with disregard
