Our dstv installer tried to contact the call centre earlier today but had to give up after 20 min due to no response. I phoned twice and I didnt even wait for a consultant after hearing I was No 77 and 101 in the call queue. My partner phoned at about 17h45 and waited for 15minutes before she got through to Keletso and then within 3 minutes the call dropped and Keletso didnt bother phoning back. Her second attempt to phone Dstv at 18h42 resulted in a wait of 19 minutes before she was attended to. In total more than R150 was wasted waiting to convert our normal dstv subscription to pvr status- which is absolutely ridiculous. Had Keletso phoned her back we only would have incurred only about R40 in telephone call charges. Dstv should be giving us a refund on our subscription for our trouble! Why doesnt the call centre have an automatic update which informs callers what number in the call queue they are?
