I'm posting this on behalf of my sister who got married on the 21st March 2013 at Moon & Sixpence. The organiser for the event organised her husband (Tony) as the DJ for the event. My sister and I prepared a playlist for the evening and told the DJ that we'd like to have the playlist played during the event. Everything was loaded onto a USB stick for the DJ. The DJ accepted this and assured us that would be done. The day before the wedding, Tony cancelled and got a stand in DJ in for the night. I never caught his name (or his girlfriend who came along). This replacement DJ arrived with an ancient CD mixer (probably from the 90's) and a book of CDs with songs and NO laptop. I informed this replacement DJ he would have to load the bride's playlist, which he said couldn't be done because he had no laptop- who calls themselves a professional DJ in 2013 and plays ONLY from Cds? I insisted that he play our playlist from MY laptop. The attitude of this man was astounding, when I said he must play the playlist he responded by saying "Then why am I here? ". The DJ was paid UPFRONT! He kept playing his songlist and ignored us flat. The family wasted good money on this unprofessional rude DJ.
