I had booked for my wedding at this venue. 3 weeks before my wedding I had to cancel my wedding due to the fact that it was not the right thing to do. Everything had been paid for the wedding already (food ect). My numbers could of changed at any time 2 weeks before my wedding. I decided to have a birthday party instead of the wedding otherwise I would of lost all the money I had paid. It was a hard decision to make, the owner was not understanding and she decided because I am changing the event she is keeping R10000 of the money that was owed back to us because my numbers had decreased. I find this unacceptable as my number for the wedding could of changed anyway from 150 to 60 people. I will not recommend the venue to anyone solely on this incident and they are there just to take your money as it was not fair to lose so much money when I still had an event
