Last Monday I went to see the 14:30 show of Silver Linings Playbook. As the film started, I realized that it was out of focus and stepped out quickly to inform a staff member, who told me that they would resolve the issue. I went back inside and waited 30 minutes for it to improve, to no effect. I also noticed a flickering behind the screen, as if there was a damaged bulb there. I stepped out, yet again, to inform another staff member, who called to someone I assume was the projectionist and who was having a chat with someone else outside the ticketing area. He ran to go and refocus the projector, and I did notice a slight difference; however, the flickering behind the screen was an enormous distraction and even the colour of the film was off. As a movie-lover, I usually prefer Nu Metro because these incidents are rare, but as a loyal customer it just isn't acceptable to allow people to buy tickets for a cinema that isn't fully functional.
