Went with my wife & 9 year old son on Sat, 26 Oct to watch GRAVITY at Galleria, 10:15 show. Paid R149 for tickets R120.00 for refreshments. When movie started, it was out of focus and was projected off the screen. The projectionist's window was also left wide open, so the noisy sound of the projector drowned out the sound from the movie. After 5 minutes with nothing being done by the projectionist to correct the movie, I tried tapping on the window, but nobody was in the room. My wife then tried exiting the cinema in the dark to call someone but tripped down the cinema stairs and broke her ankle. This was reported to the (manager) on duty, after-which we left to sort out my wife's broken ankle at the hospital. Sloppy work - can't these people see the movie is not correct when it starts? All this money paid for a bad quality experience broken ankle!? This is not the first time that we've had this problem where movie either has no sound when starting, is out of focus, starts 30 minutes, late, etc. Please address this with your staff, this is why people download movies illegally over the internet. Going to cinemas you pay over-inflated prices for a bad movie experience!!!
